I designed a filming schedule of my own so it was easier to organize when the actors should meet and what is going to happen which made the planning process much easier and made everything run much smoothly.

Digipak Drafts and Layouts
Below is 2 layouts of our digipaks and with this we also conducted a survey where 70% of people chose A as the one they preferred where as 30% of people said B. After taking this data into consideration we decided to stick with A as not only was it the most popular vote it worked well with our other print texts such as our poster creating good synergy as it was clear brand identity where as B despite having the top right section as multiple flats which does make it seem more urban does not fit in with the rest of the digipak or poster as you can see it being very urban with multiple buildings doesn't have the same sense of isolation as the other images contain as its him surrounded by a lot of desolate landscape. This also helped with conveying the chronological story line Eminem focuses on as our 'star' is clearly not the main focus.

Poster drafts and layout's
Above are layouts for our Poster and we conducted a survey to find out what people most preferred and 80% of people said B and 20% of people suggested C where as 0% thought C was the correct choice. After looking at this information we decided to stick with B as we are trying to recreate an Eminem song and Eminem has a very chronological style within his songs and music video's which is a very post modern narrative and poster B fits that style of narrative as the man isn't the main focus of it, the name and title is were as poster C is the main focus which fits with Richard Dyer's theory of the pop star and singer and in a media outlet they are very different where as to the public the name thing were a star is the main focus and is constantly in your face which is very much poster C but also rap music in general where as Eminem likes to subvert this theory as his songs and music videos has a story to it.

Prelim Feedback
Our group created a questionnaire to our target audience of around 30 participants so that we could have a large number of candidates to get enough feedback to see what was positive and negative about it.
Above is a template of the questionnaire we gave to our participants and we chose these questions as we thought these were best to get accurate feedback so we'd know what improvements needed to be made and what people thought was good about it.
Question 2 which we believed was a key question was if the audience liked the actor we got to portray Eminem and had to give a reason why and this is key as our prelim is based off him so we want to see if we were able to capture the aspects of Eminem people enjoy.
Majority of the people who were given the questionnaire did like Jordan's portrayal of Eminem as he resembled Eminem well as they both have similar physical characteristics so we decided to use him for our final piece as well. 7 people still said that Jordan did not suit the role of Eminem as his lip syncing was off and was often caught smiling where Eminem in the video and most his music videos keeps a straight face whilst he raps and we did take this into account but after evaluating the reasons behind peoples like's and dislikes and taken in the majority vote we decided to stick with the same actor to use for our final piece.
One of our most key questions was question 7 which asks what improvements could be made to our video and this is important as we get a general opinion on our video instead of our own biased opinion. The parts which were most touched upon that we could improve was the timings of the lip syncing, smoothness of the editing to make it flow better and also the lighting on the lift scene. After watching the prelim over we took into account the fact the lip syncing was out of place and had to re-shoot to make it better it was difficult to plan so and because of this we decided to better organize for our final piece to make sure that was filmed properly with significant lip syncing and smooth editing. Also a disadvantage we had with this unlike 'Loose yourself' our actor knew lyrics for 'Loose yourself' unlike 'My Name Is' where he didn't which would explain why the lip syncing. The lighting for the lifts was criticized but consideration our no budget compared to Eminem's big budget music video the lighting from the lifts suited the lights from the Eminem Music video so even though it doesn't match completely due to circumstances I believe suited well but we will learn to use better locations for it.

Preliminary video
This is our prelim video which is based off the Eminem song "My Name is". Looking at our prelim I believe it is similar and a very well recreated scene. You can see in the video the editing and shots when compared to the original segment of the music video look very similar.

Filming Schedule (prelim)
We decided to making a filming schedule for our prelim so we would know when to film which was hugely useful as we all knew when to organize our equipment and actors which was extremely useful for our filming process.

Props and Costume
Props:
- Glasses (with tea bags and water to create an alcohol looking substance)
- Beer Can's
- Tissue's
- Mobile Phones
The glasses with the tea bags and water create a murky liquid substance which like resembles alcohol and we will use these in multiple shots to imply that large sums of alcohol is being consumed as each shot will contain different amounts of liquid in each glass and having the Beer can's in them as well further implies the alcohol consumption representing large amounts of it. At the beginning of the music video Our main actor playing 'Eminem' and his 'Girlfriend' will be using their phones at the beginning talking and again towards the end but this time arguing and its during the chorus. The phone's being used at the start implies a new conversation and things to come and then using the phone again during the chorus is implying her to him that he has 'one shot' and is him realizing he has done wrong. The tissue is used implying she is crying and upset over everything that has adding emotion to the music video.
Costume:
Our costume idea for our main actor was to wear typical track suit clothing such as a grey hoodie and black track suit bottoms as Eminem in 'Loose Yourself' wear's normal tracksuits which is typical for rap genre music genres except he doesn't wear "Bling" which rappers are most known for which subverts typical music videos so to make it some what similar to Eminem and also him not being all covered in jewelry the focus is dominantly on him but the story.
Our costume for the 'Girlfriend' was simple coat with black jeans and brown boots and the coat is being there as she is outside for most the music video. Giving the 'Girlfriend' these cloths doesn't sexualize her in any way which is also subversive of rap music videos as the sexualization of woman is very common of the genre's music video and doing this allows the audience to focus more on the story rather than her.

Font texts
Above are 3 different fonts which also we conducted a survey for as we wanted to know which one was most impact-full and intrigued the audience. 50% of people said A and 40% for C and 10% for B. A and C were the top contenders and after looking and analyzing both fonts we could see many similarities between the 2 such as both are very bold but both also fade in places on the letters which could represent indecency and that they both could evoke a strong serious message which B did not have as B not only being the less interesting to our audience but can also be seen as quite cartoon like and comical so definitely doesn't convey a serious message. We finally decided to go with A as it was the most striking and with its rugged edges conveyed that serious message and fitted the rest of the tone the digipaks and posters also conveyed. Also it fitted with our rap genre as well as the artist we are recreating as Eminem in a lot of his songs for example 'When I'm gone' or 'Stan' have a very serious message to the stories and we wanted to recreate that seriousness and we believed this font can help do so.
